I agree Amybebe.
Once, when pregnant with Ambudwolf...I went out to dinner, Guessing 7th tri- anyways, I order my Steak Blue...every time. Being I grew up around 'Cattle' ...I like'em with the heart still beating...ya know. So, anyhoooo... This one time, was a mistake. I got food poisoning...and bad! Was stuck in hospital, and very sick for 3 days. Stupid restaurant! |

tis very common actually....people eat out all the time and go home and get the squirts...thats food poisoning...everytime....me....i been behind the
lines......I know what goes on....you have to remember.....usually restaurants dont drug test...so cook jobs theres a few good ones such as myself who actually
care.....alot dont....and are soo blown away...that they dont know what they are doing......drunk and on meth heroin cocaine.......beware....only go to the
places you trust.....i have a couple places.......tis it

I only like Subs and Pizza mostly.
KFC is okay, but not too overly often. And...hmmmm? Occasionally a 'Harvey's Burger' ...but very rare. I don't mean 'rare cooked' I mean 'rarely bought'... I find fast food costs too much, myself. Is more wise to buy groceries. I eat mostly canned stuff tho. Because I usually am only cooking stuff for 'one, me' ...and that takes the fun out of 'elaborate meal making' Ya Know? |

I never eat out anywhere hardly...ai always try to buy fresh food...gets expensive...we eat our share of junk though....trying to change bad habits...but helps
if everyone is in the same boat....me Im usually disappointed when I eat out...99 percent of the time...KFC is the worst! the last time I ate there I threw
up...was horrible...everyone was sick...was about 5 years ago....

I am more than happy to let the man cook.
I hate it! If I can't open it with an opener, dump it in a pot and heat it on high till boiled. It's just not gonna happen. I hate the microwave. Okay for hotdogs only. And... I don't mind using my oven to make fries, never ever do I use the deep fryer, far tooo greasy! That's pretty much it. Of course was different when I was married and Ambud was younger. I did work much harder at it back then. |

I have a cookbook for two so that just about every other day I merely reheat. Leftovers don't bother me. I figure if it is good today, it will be just as
good tomorrow. I do have a great local takeout place that makes great food - they are Italian need I say more.
Getting cold time for some easy making stews and getting real ambitious my mother's spaghetti sauce that takes a few hours to simmer. Nothing like the Irish to make such great sauce (hint though we lived near Italian neighbors) |

hubby invested in a steamer
so he cooks a lot of fresh veg which suits me. Yesterday, he cooked grilled lamb that had been marinated in honey and mustard, carrots, greens, peas and anya potatoes. I usually cook vegetarian for myself but I do enough to put some in plastic container to freeze them for work. Tonight I think I'm having home made boiled bacon and pea soup and tomorrow we'll eat the boiled bacon with pease pudding (hot) and mash with other steamed veg. |
